About Our Community

The LOVE IS Community is a community of youth & young adults that live within the city of Sydney and share one major thing in common, Jesus Christ. We are comprised of 3 major age groups; Junior High, which is students from grade 6 through to grade 8, Senior High, students from grade 9 through to grade 12 and Young Adults, anyone from the age of 18 through to 20 something.

We gather regularly on a small scale all throughout the city, whether it's at someone's house, in a cafe or at the beach, quality relationships are one of our highest priorities. We also gather on a much larger scale, these meetings are held in 3 locations around the city, these locations are the 3 campuses of our church, C3 Church Sydney.

To grow a large gospel-centred youth & young adults community at C3 Church that changes the city of Sydney for the glory of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, by engaging with culture, loving people, serving the city and preaching the message of Jesus so that lives are eternally transformed.

Our Culture

Culture is about how we live out the message of Christ and what we are known for, both as individuals and the LOVEIS community. We believe in a Kingdom culture based on the Holy Bible. This is how we want to be known.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

HOLY TRINITY // There is one God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They live in unity, inter-relationship and perfect love.

JESUS CHRIST // In the deity, the person and the work of our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; as our High Priest, He fulfils the ministry as Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate, and we believe in His imminent return to judge the living and the dead.

HOLY SPIRIT // In the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; in His regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them for the day of redemption with His fruit and gifts available in the Church.

BIBLE // The Bible is the word of God — authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine; inerrant in the original languages, infallible, and God-breathed.
